Seamus Coleman A Major Doubt For Ireland’s World Cup Opener

Seamus Coleman is a serious doubt for Ireland’s opening World Cup qualifier against Serbia.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has confirmed that the full-back is facing at least another two weeks out of action with an ankle injury.

Martin O’Neill’s side are due to travel to Belgrade for their opening qualifier on September 5th, meaning that Coleman remains unlikely to play.

Elsewhere, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp doesn’t thinks Sadio Mane will be out for a lengthy period.

The forward damaged his shoulder in a training ground collison this week and is unlikely to play against Burnley on Saturday – although he may return soon after that.

Tonight in the Europa league West Ham are away to Astra of Romania in the play -off round first leg.

Kick off is at 7.15
